Subscribe for a new video every week! ►► Mariana Trench is located near the Mariana Islands in the Western Pacific Ocean and is labelled as the deepest section in the earth's seabed, stretching approximately 2,550 kilometres (1,580 mi) long and has an average width of around 69 kilometres (43 mi). There have only been two manned descents to the very bottom nearly 7 miles deep of pure darkness. Not only is it a fascinating place and wonder of the planet, but it's also shrouded in mystery. Since so few have been down there, and only a hand full of cameras have recorded the bottom, what creatures live at the bottom is one of life's mysterious. Sit back and enjoy this short documentary of the Marian Trench in all its glory and mystery.
